2007 MERRITT 7' X 28' ALUMINUM GOOSENECK CATTLE DRIVE LIVESTOCK TRAILER. Standard features for this trailer include: fuel efficient tapered front nose, punched aluminum side sheet and post design that is a Merritt Original that was introduced in the early 1960s and is still used today on the LEGENDARY MERRITT CATTLE DRIVE POTS. This concept provides many advantages including increased airflow, maximum interior space, reduced bruising and lighter weight. 1" x 4 3/8" extruded aluminum hat posts for added strength, .112 high grip diamond plate aluminum floors with a 4 rib corrugation pattern that is welded to 3" structural aluminum I-beam cross members on 13" centers, 34" side access door, interior load lights, full-width rear swing gate with a sliding gate on the left side, full width dock bumper and underside skid plates, spare tire mounted on curb side of front drop lrg jack, sealed automotive-style electrical harness mounted overhead in the cove area to protect the wiring, 8,000 lb. torsion E-Z lube Dexter axles, 17.5" x 6.75", 8-hole steel wheels with Premium 215/75R17.5 16-ply tires. The "Turtle Back Slam Latch" is a low-profile, prositive-locking latch with effortless inside and outside release and easy maintenance. Dimensions: 84" inside width; 80" clearance floor to roof bow, 20,000 lb. GVWR.
